Role of the Advisory
Committee
The Afghanistan Women’s Business
Federation Advisory Committee will advise the ýelected Board
of Directors on policy issues, program implementation, and
other aspects of ýthe AWBF program. Members of the Advisory
Committee will be selected by the ýAWBF board and may
include businesswomen, government officials, and NGO
ýrepresentatives. The main activities of the committee will
be: ý

To provide
sound, transparent and non-partisan advice to the AWBF
board of ýdirectors.ý

To attend
monthly meetings and provide input on AWBF programs.ý
-
To
participate in AWBF events, committees and programs.ý
-
To achieve
the highest ethical standards and to expect the same of
the elected ýboard members.ý

To
participate in official delegations that represent AWBF
nationally and ýinternationally.ý
-
To gain
consensus on issues so as to provide unified input to
the board.ý
