Membership Development Department

AWBF’s Membership Development Department works to increase the number of AWBF members and services.ý The department publishes a quarterly newsletter and a magazine on women's business ýissues.

Membership benefits:ý

Category 1 benefits are:

  • Providing membership ID card for the leaders of association.

  • Opportunity to become a member of AWBF Board of Director.

  • Introducing to loan providing companies and organizations.

  • Priority and discount in access to programs coordinated by the AWBF training center. This includes entrepreneurship training as well as finance training and other courses offered by the Center.

  • Individual assistance in writing business plan and proposals.

  • Individual assistance in financial management for each association according to their working conditions.

  • Invitation to AWBF networking events.

  • Access to AWBF publications.

  • Priority and discount in access to AWBF design center for technical capacity training in specific design areas including jewelry, textiles and carpet.

  • Discounted participation in trade exhibitions and trade missions organized by AWBF.

  • Production marketing, sale and exhibition of each association through AWBF retail shop as retail and wholesale.

  • Providing business counseling.

  • Providing access for carpet producer associations to “Made by Afghan Women” program and through it to local and international markets.

  • Design of business card and other official documents for associations.

  • Conducting conferences, seminars, workshops for associations.

  • Providing access to internet facility in AWBF offices.

  • Free brief introduction of associations throuth AWBF website.

  • Introduction of successful business associations in AWBF newsletter.

  • Letters of recommendation provided where appropriate.

  • Researched response to member's inquiries.

  • Marketing of the production on an international level through AWBF Programs.

  • Providing access to using AWBF conference room.

  • Invitation to apply for inclusion in Thunderbird University's Artemis Leadership Program. (This does not guarantee acceptance).

  • Discount for advertisements in AWBF website.

  • Assistance with legal procedures.

  • Invitation to meetings with top international investors, dignitaries, and government officials.
